We decided that since we did the 3D-4D ultrasound with Jeffrey that we were going to do it with Skylar as well.  Well last night was the big 3D-4D ultrasound!  I think it is totally amazing in so many ways.  I love to be able to see and hear the baby!  Here are some of her pics, but there were a little difficult to get good ones as you can tell in the pictures her leg and hand were up by her face as she was playing shy girl!!!

Clinic

After yet another MRI and Clinic appointment we are proud to announce that Jeffrey is still tumor FREE!!!  We could not be happier!!  The cyst is still present and did get another 2mm Bigger but it is NOT tumor but what they think is spinal fluid!!  We also made an appointment with the endo doctor to have his hormones checked out in July as well as another hearing test in July.  We could not get into see them until July but that's OK!!  Jeffrey's iron is a little low so he is now taking a multi vitamin daily..  We continued our great day with a trip to
chick-fil-a and then Frying pan park to visit with the animals!!  Jeffrey and his friends had an absolute blast!  We love all the great news!! 

Skylar Rose......  She is doing great growing like a weed..  We have our 3d-4d ultrasound on May 24th.  I also had an apt today that went very well..  She is as healthy as can be!! 

Our little Race Car driver!!

Jeffrey has had the opportunity many times to enjoy being around a funny car!  He recently had the joy of not only helping work on it but actually being in the drivers seat!!  This was huge for him in many different ways!!  He loves racing just like his daddy!  The last picture is oh Jeffrey before we found out he was sick helping George out!!  Its one of my personal favorites!!

We have made it past the 2 year mark!

Since our suprise journey started a mear 2 years ago we have been through too much to even begin to think about!  Today marked the 2 year mark for Jeffreys clean MRI since his 14 hour brain surgery!  Yet again the stress was on all weekend and all day as we knew deep down inside that MRI day was approching and fast!!  After a short hour MRI this morning we are now celbrating with our hero of the rails as he wants to be called (as he sports around in his Thomas jammies.)  We will be going to get pizza tonight and a cupcake for our hero!!  Yes, mommy is going to break down and have a cupcake to celebrate this great day with her lil man, even if i pay for it all night long!!  This was the first milestone that we needed to hit with clear scans and its official via an email in return form Dr. Mysersos that there is no sign of tumor on the scan!!  They cyst is still there but is very benign appearing!  We will talk more about that on the 16th when we have clinic!  Jeffrey also had his blood drawn today while he was sleeping so we do not have to do it at clinic!!  He hates to wake up with tape on him but also refuses to take it off!!  Today was the first time in 2 years that when he woke up he wanted absolutly NOTHING to do with mommy!  He was all about his daddy and would not let me touch him at all...  Actually i had to just take the wires off and leave stickers on him as he was screaming too much!  After we left we made a trip to daddys work where he was excited and calm.  Daddy made his day by telling him he could have McDonalds which he decided was not good enough!  His exact words were "Well mommy since i was such a good boy its my choice and i want chick-fil-a!"  Ok no problom but then he follows with "oh yeah and a trip to Toys "R" us!!"  Hes lucky hes so cute!!  We have realized that you never know wheat life will bring you so yes we do tend to spoil and give in when he goes through things like this with such ease.  I have never seen a child so excited to put the mask on and breath into it!  Jeffrey loves it! 

We have a follow up with Dr. Chang tomorrow afternoon about his allergies and allery test! 

A day we will never forget!

This very day in 2010 was by far the worse day of our lives!  Jeffrey was brought to the OR at 7 Am for the start of the longest and hardest day ever!  After finding out on April 30th, 2010 that there was a very large mass on Jeffrey brain he was then scheduled for surgery which took place on this 3rd day of May 2010.  This little miracle opened up the OR waiting room in INOVA and closed it down as we were then moved to the main waiting room of the hospital.  His surgery was a total of 14 long hours.  It was an absolute blessing seeing our Lil boy after surgery. He is one special and successful Lil man!!  Here are picture of now and then!!  By the time i was able to snap a picture today he has passed out!!  What a HERO!!!

On this very day May 2, 2010 We sat in the hospital room at INOVA all day and just watched our poor little man go from happy to sad to screaming throughout the day!  His poor head hurt him so bad that he was losing his motor functions.  This day is also special to us in that It is Jeffrey's belated grandfather Babb's Birthday.  Today he would have been 55 years young and would have loved to enjoy Jeffrey to his fullest!  He is missed greatly although we know that he keeps a close eye on each of us and keeps us safe!  We love you dad and grandpa!!  I have posted some pics from 2 years ago and of Jeffrey today!  How much advanced he is and how well hes doing thank to everyone who prayed from him and his wonderful team of doctors as well!!  I must say the picture of Jeffrey smiling and eating was his last meal before his surgery the next morning and it was at the time his favorite meal so YES he was a very happy boy!!

Mommy and Lil Miss update!!

I went to the doctor today about my upper belly pains and to see if it could be my gallbladder..  Well the OB is almost certain that its just heartburn but i have an ultrasound on May 12th along with blood work to rule it out completely.  If its not my gallbladder i will be one super very happy mama!!!  I have never had to have surgery and really do not ever want to!!!  Dr. Hodgson also put me on a stronger heartburn med so hopefully that will take care if my problems!!

On a plus note Lil Miss is doing great although i have lost 5LBS..  Her heartbeat is 150's still.  Strong and good.  My belly is measuring right on track as well.. We are also going for our 3D-4D ultrasound on Daddy's Birthday May 26th!!!  I am very excited about this!!  Jeffrey was very excited to hear his sisters heartbeat today as well!!!

Boys will be boys!!

This was the first time that Jeffrey actually initiated and enjoyed helping his daddy work on his 68 cougar drag car!  He said "Look mommy i am all dirty."  So glad to see my boy actually being a boy and we do not have to worry about infection and gems and getting sick!!  Makes my heart melt and bring tears to my eyes!  I love these boys sooo much!!!

Easter 2012

Easter 2012 was very quiet for the Moore household.  We really did not do to much other then enjoy each other.  Jeffrey had a blast playing at grandmas and helping daddy work on his race car.  He also enjoyed all 3 of his Easter baskets that he received.  He was very blessed to get a big basket from mommy and daddy, a basket with great goodies from his friend Christina and her son Lil Joey, as well as a basket from Papa and Grandma.  He was definitely on a sugar high most of the day which was totally fine with us.  We strive daily to see Jeffrey at his happiest points.  He is our hero!  We also visited the Easter Bunny at Fair Oaks Mall this year!

Reston Zoo

On Friday April 20th I took Jeffrey and his friend Ry and Troy to the Reston Zoo.  We had an absolute blast..  Both boys absolutly loved the animals. It was a beautiful day and everyone was great!!  They got toys and pet some animals!!  They even got to feed the animals and give baby lambs a bottle!  We can not wait to make more trips this summer!!
